5 Easy Paleo Breakfast Recipes Using Primal Island Granola

Has your breakfast inspiration been falling a little flat for Easter?  If you’re ready to shake things up with new and creative breakfast ideas, here are 5 easy paleo-friendly breakfast recipes that use Primal Island granola

1. Granola and milk!

Granola and milk is the obvious recipe to make when you buy a bag of granola, and it’s a timeless classic. To make granola and milk paleo-friendly, we use Primal Island granola and coconut milk. You can swap out almond milk for your favorite cow milk alternative, but we especially love coconut milk because it complements the coconut in the granola!

2. Fresh fruit smoothie bowl

Smoothie bowls are a great pick for breakfast if you are a fruit-lover. Whizz up some frozen berries, nuts, seeds, and a splash of almond milk or water. You can also add greens like kale and spinach, greens powders, or protein powder to make your smoothie extra nutritious. Pour your smoothie into a bowl and top with nuts, seeds, nut butter, and Primal Island granola.

3. Paleo yogurt parfait

Most yogurts are packed with cow dairy and added sugars, but there are a few alternatives out there that may meet your nutritional needs. Try to find an all-natural coconut or almond-based yogurt that is low in sugars, or you can even make coconut yogurt at home in your Instant Pot for full control over ingredients!

Once you’ve chosen a paleo-friendly yogurt, it’s time to layer your parfait. An 8oz Mason jar is the perfect container to use, or you can use any see-through glass that you have on hand. Build your layers with your yogurt, Primal Island granola, your favorite nuts and seeds, and any fresh fruit you would like to add.

4. Top your favorite savory breakfast with granola

It may sound weird, but lots of classic breakfasts combine sweet and savory: chicken and waffles, maple bacon donuts, apple sausage, etc. You can paleo-ify your sweet/savory breakfast by topping your favorite savory paleo breakfast with Primal Island granola. Try a sweet potato and sausage bake and top it with a crunchy crumble of blueberry granola, we promise you won’t be disappointed!

5. Chia seed pudding

Chia seed pudding is a great paleo breakfast, and topping it with paleo granola adds an irresistible textural element. Add a few tbs of chia seeds to a Mason jar with water, coconut milk, and your favorite flavorings (a drop of organic vanilla extract or a pinch of cinnamon are great choices). Allow the pudding to sit overnight, and top it with granola clusters when you are ready to enjoy it the next morning!
