7 Paleo & Keto Experts Whose Websites You Should Visit

Mark Sisson was my inspiration for creating Primal Island. It started with reading his blog “Mark’s Daily Apple.” It changed my life!

Over the years, I’ve discovered a number of experts in paleo and keto diets, fitness and healthy living, whose work I admire. This is a list of my favorites. I hope you enjoy the coaching, the insights and the paleo and keto recipes that are offered on these sites.

Mark Sisson

Website: Mark’s Daily Apple
“We spend thousands of hours every year researching health questions in order to serve you research-based information and actionable tips on Mark’s Daily Apple each day. While the Primal Blueprint approach to health, well-being, and weight management might not always align with conventional practice, the principles you find here are founded in peer-reviewed medical research from the fields of nutritional science, exercise science, epigenetic study, and behavior change. This blog isn’t intended as medical advice, but we hope it will be an informative and inspiring source as you pursue a healthy, fulfilling life.”

Michelle Tam

Website: Nom Nom Paleo
“Nom Nom Paleo has grown from a personal blog featuring embarrassingly amateurish photography to something resembling a real food site. I’m proud that my little corner of the Internet has been recognized with occasional awards, including a Best Food Blog Award by Saveur Magazine. In the past few years, I’ve also had the good fortune to evolve Nom Nom Paleo into more than just a food blog; Nom Nom Paleo is now also a Webby Award winning cooking app, a Best of Paleo Award winning podcast, and a James Beard Award nominated and New York Times bestselling cookbook, Nom Nom Paleo: Food for Humans. My second cookbook, Ready or Not!, hit shelves in the summer of 2017, and debuted as a New York Times bestseller, too. But I’m most proud of Nom Nom Paleo’s impact—however small it may be—in home kitchens and dinner tables around the world.”
